13 momentos: hasta siempre 2013. (Last post of the year)

Well, today is the last day of 2013 and for me it has been a unique year, but actually, every year is unique for me. I admire those people who can qualify if a year is the best one o the worst one, I don’t know, I think it is impossible to measure something in a big period of time, cause the best and the worst things happen in question of seconds. Some people think that when the New Year comes they evolution like digimon, they think they will suddenly look uglier or more good-looking, or smarter or dumber. No, my dear, it just changes a number. If it were that important, the New Year would be at the same time everywhere, without any time difference.  Really, I could almost say that time doesn’t exist, clocks do.

In this post I’ve decided to choose 12 moments, for each grape (here in Spain for New Year we eat 12 grapes at 00:00am). They are not the best ones, they are just twelve (incredible) moments, and those which I found a photograph. Here we go.

To start, the carnival. I disguised myself like the Queen of Hearts with a handmade skirt with a lot lot of cards, I took a bus and I spent my weekend with my best friend in her city and well, aw, it was great.

Another day that I choose is the 28th February (Andalucía’s day). I woke up veeeery early and I saw that everything was covered with the snow, and of course, with my camera and a pair of Doctor Martens in my feet, I went out to the street to take some picture at 8am. Granada was soooo beautiful, and there were no one in the street, just crazy photographs and the I was there, with my literally frozen fingers and also my camera lens was frozen.

Next, my exchange with France. Cold, cold, IT WAS TOO COLD, and if you multiply all that cold by 123871723671236127 it is equal to the perfect time I passed there. In this picture we were doing snowmen like little and happy children.

And in the period of the Exchange, I choose the last three days in Brussels, with my class, no doubt those days were magic, unforgettable, full of waffles and more cold, dances in the streets, vinyl’s’ shops, wandering, beautiful Parisians, awake nights, sleeping in museums, a lot of chocolate and… chorizo’s sandwich.  Yep, chorizo. Because there is nothing better than eating an Iberian sandwich in those foreign lands.

Then also when the French came here to my city, there were absurd and crazy moments till late nights on the street and even when the next day we had class. Untidy schedule, sunsets, travel bus singing a lot, those evenings on the steps of the cathedral square, and lots of partying and various dances. Here goofing around in the bathrooms of my school, cause the French of the Nord are the best one.

Also, we have this little teddy bear called Justin that my French “father” made exclusive for me, and which with I hung around by the streets of Granada. Personally, I love this photo because I remember when I tried to take it, it was too difficult but finally, I got it, hihi.

Another moment, was my camping with my group of Astrophysicists,  full of hot potatoes, scorpions, early morning under the stars, sunsets, watermelon, paella, and what more? Stars, of course, because that why we did that camping (lalalala).

And now, is the turn of my trip to Dublin in July (which have too many posts here on my blog) it was ASSJKDJASDAJS incredible. And that’s all, from that trip I will take millions of moments, tears, smiles, jumps, hugs, moons, sunsets, trips, empty train’s carriages, waterlines, buskers, snaps in class, tickling until fall down, my host mum’s breakfasts, lost buses, running very fast, Italian insults, cups of tea in Chez Max, aw, too many things. In this photo, I am with my favourite Canary friends in mode leprechaun-Viking on.

By the other hand, I also choose that weekend in Bilbao the last October (yep, I travel a lot) to present my Astrophysics’ project in a science congress.  Those 12 hours in a bus worth too much. Nothing like getting lost in Bilbao at 1a.m. in the best company, and then pretend that you have slept something during three days.

The 2nd of November. Just that, like this, by the streets of Granada I met Diego Álvarez, and that’s all, I don’t have words to describe that moment because that is how I felt that day, without words.

The 23rd of November, I lived one of the most wonderful adventures of my life (even there is a video in YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nl6Vi7CbZI0&feature=youtu.be&a) My Doctor and me, we took a bus and we went to Marbella to see the first release on CINEMA of the episode for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who. The destiny was against us but finally, we got it and it was asdjksauhdjasdujkaskda indescribable.

Finally, my promenades until infinites places, with the company of my “cervatillo” (Little deer), the best company to get lost. The most incredible places, lost and unique, with falls on the skate, Digestive cookies, and frozen fingers. Actually, infinite things.
